Thanks for speaking with me last night.

I fully understand your position. As I explained during the call, we are trying to get Neighbourhood Watch and Staffordshire off the ground.

I notice that you self-registered nearly 7 years ago, and that 1 other person is part of your group/scheme.

As I said, I fully understand that you know your neighbours, and that they might be reluctant to get involved with Neighbourhood Watch (NW).

So a suggestion: consider join an established NW group 400-500m from you?

Any Smart Alerts should still come to you, and you’ll have very minimal involvement, other than being a good neighbour, especially if you see something suspicious.

In the meantime, would you be willing to  share your contact details with the Lichfield Police?

Last Wednesday we (Neighbourhood Watch, Lichfield Council and Sergeant Grace Hyland from Lichfield Neighbourhood Policing Team), held an online meeting with the Lichfield area Neighbourhood Watch coordinators.

It was decided to ask registered Neighbourhood Watch coordinators whether they'd be willing to share their contact details with the police.
